South Brent Primary School is seeking to recruit both a Nursery Manager and a Deputy Nursery Manager for its new nursery, “Little Roots and Shoots Nursery & Pre-School”, birth – 4yrs, planned to open in September 2026. Little Roots and Shoots Nursery & Pre-School will be open for 48 weeks a year, Monday to Friday and from 8am to 6pm. Required from: September 2026 At Matford Brook Academy, we are a small but growing school. As we enter our fourth year since opening in September 2023, we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and adaptable individual who believes in our vision and values to step into the role of HLTA. This role is suitable for experienced TAs or qualified teachers. Based initially within our Chapter Two phase (Y1-4), this role is intended to work closely with class teachers and school leaders to deliver excellent education to our pupils. You will deliver whole class teaching to cover PPA and absences, working alongside the class teacher to ensure the curriculum is well-taught, whilst overseeing and delivering high-quality interventions to support children outside of direct teaching. You will also line manage and develop the TA team, supporting colleagues to grow in their knowledge and understanding of effective support for all children, especially those requiring additional support. Start Date: September 2026 Suitable for ECTs About this Role We are an enthusiastic and highly committed team who pride ourselves on the quality of the relationships we have with our students and with each other, and with the quality of teaching and learning that goes on in our classrooms. We work closely with our colleagues across Education South West sharing our curriculum, resources and expertise. At GCSE, students follow the Edexcel course. A large majority of the students take the Higher Paper. There are excellent levels of success – in 2025, 77% of Year 11 achieved a Grade 4 and above in maths, with 60% achieving Grade 5 and above. This has continued to build on our history of outstanding outcomes in maths for our students. Uptake at A Level is very strong in A Level maths (AQA), and Further maths (AQA) and we also have students studying for Level 3 Core maths in Year 12. Success levels within our Post 16 provision are exceptional – in 2025 76% of A Level maths students achieved A*-B and 100% of Further Maths A Level Students. Large numbers of students go on to study maths related subjects after leaving. We are excited to offer this Social worker opportunity within the Adult Disability Focus side of our Dawlish and Teignmouth Community Health and Social Care team. Here in Devon, we are passionate about developing people and committed to achieving excellence in practice, based on what matters to people. Our Coastal Team is part of the wider South Devon teams neighbouring with Newton Abbot, and Moor to Sea Health and Social Care Teams. We have a diverse demographic and the team supports work with adults of working age with a physical, lifelong conditions and/ or learning disability including transition to adulthood, as well as older persons with physical disabilities and/ or mental health, including dementia, and carers. We are currently based in Teignmouth Hospital and cover a large geographical patch. The team is busy and work is fast paced and you will work alongside other social workers, social care assessors and occupation therapists as well as other local health colleagues. We are committed to ensuring a person-centred culture, putting people at the forefront of what we do. There are well established links with many of the local providers and community services. The Care Act is key to much of the work we do. However we look to support and enable people to realise and achieve their own goals in a wide variety of ways including utilising universal and voluntary services through to commissioned care.
