Working Pattern: This is a fixed term parental leave cover position working 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year until 31st August 2027 (Monday to Friday) St. Martin's C of E Primary School are looking to appoint a fantastic teaching assistant initially based in our Early Years or KS1 team from September. The role will involve working closely with a class teacher and team of teaching assistants to support our younger children to master their self-regulation as well as the fundamental skills in reading writing and maths so that they can thrive as they progress through our school. Experience of supporting young children and/or those with additional needs would be desirable but is not essential as training and support will be offered as part of your induction. Our TAs are also required to take on half an hour of mealtime assistant duties each day as we believe it is good to have adults who know the children well supporting them to have safe and happy lunchtimes. Although the post is initially only required for 1 year, there is the possibility that this may be extended.
