We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team.
Post One - Teaching Assistant (13 hours per week, 2 days)
We are looking for a positive and proactive Teaching Assistant (TA) to support learning within a classroom setting. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher to:
- Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum
- Deliver small group interventions
- Help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils’ wellbeing and positive behaviour
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills, initiative and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Post Two - SEND Teaching Assistant (13 hours per week, 2 days)
We are also seeking a caring and patient SEND TA to support a pupil(s) with additional needs. The role will involve:
- Providing targeted support in line with EHCP outcomes (where applicable)
- Supporting learning, communication and emotional regulation
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo
- Promoting independence and inclusion
Experience of working with children with SEND is desirable, though not essential for the right candidate with a willingness to learn.
We are looking for candidates who have experience of working with primary-aged children, are calm, adaptable and nurturing, and are able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high expectations for all children is essential.
