Clyst Vale is a thriving and vibrant 11 - 16 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. The Role
Starting in September 2026, we have the opportunity for someone to join the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department as a Teaching Assistant specialising in delivering phonics teaching and early reading interventions. This is a fixed term contract until 30 June 2027, or on the return of the post holder.
You will provide support for individual and groups of students following the school’s chosen phonics programme (Read Write Inc Phonics). This will include monitoring pupil engagement and progress and adapting activities to meet the needs of pupils with SEND, English as an Additional Language (EAL) or those requiring additional support.
