Woodwater Academy are looking for a hardworking Site Support Assistant to join our school community.
About the Role
The main purpose of the job is to provide short term, practical site support to maintain a safe, clean, and well presented school environment. This role is limited to low risk, non technical caretaking tasks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Waste management - placing bins out for collection, returning them afterwards, and keeping waste areas tidy.
- Site tidying - sweeping paths, litter picking, and ensuring communal areas remain presentable.
- Basic grounds maintenance - trimming back low vegetation, light gardening, and general outdoor upkeep.
- Manual handling - moving classroom resources, small furniture items, and equipment as directed.
- General assistance - supporting simple set ups for school activities and keeping storage areas organised.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
