We are looking for a well organised and self-motivated person to join the Business Support Team to fill this vital role supporting the Panels Team in the Children and Families service.
What skills & qualities we need from you?:
- Previous office/administration experience
- Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office (O365)
- Ability to use a laptop
- Positive & enthusiastic attitude towards learning and supporting your colleagues
- Excellent experience of live note taking (typed)
- Processing of sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent attention to detail and input/record data accurately
- Good communication skills & the ability to build good working relationships with team members and wider colleagues
- Ability to plan workload for the day and be adaptable when service needs might change
- Ability to think on your feet and work with colleagues to resolve problems
- Remain calm and resilient under pressure

What key tasks/responsibilities will the role involve (Service Support Officer):
- Attendance at Panel meetings (remotely via Microsoft Teams) to take accurate notes of the meetings
- You will be using a laptop and various internal systems and Microsoft packages to conduct your role
- You will be working in an ‘agile’ way – some home working and some office-based work
- Working within a shared mailbox with the County Panel Team
- Drafting & responding to emails
- Full administration of organising panel meetings and follow up action
- Uploading/downloading evidence to/from internal systems (Eclipse/Liquid Logic database)
- Inputting data into spreadsheet/word documents/Eclipse/Liquid Logic database
- Supporting other administrative staff with office operations
