Be part of something that truly matters at Lipson.
Welcome visitors. Support students. Strengthen our community.
At Lipson, we believe education transforms lives - and every positive experience begins with a warm welcome. We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist to become the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and enjoys making a difference every day. As the face of the school, you will play an important role in ensuring that everyone who visits or contacts Lipson receives a professional, welcoming and supportive experience.
This isn’t just a reception role - this is impact.
You will work closely with colleagues across the school to provide an efficient front-of-house and administrative service, supporting the smooth running of the academy and helping to create a positive experience for our whole community.
You will:
• Provide a warm, welcoming and effective reception service for the school.
• Act as the first point of contact for student, parents/carers and visitors.
• Respond to face-to-face, telephone and email enquiries.
• Contribute to a team that supports each other and strives for excellence every day.
Award-Winning Culture
In 2025, Lipson secured seven regional and national awards for staff and student satisfaction, reflecting our commitment to listening, improving and creating an exceptional environment for both colleagues and young people.
Our Edurio results speak for themselves:
“100% of staff would recommend Lipson as a good place to work”, Edurio staff survey December 2025
This places us in the top 10 nationally for staff voice and parental confidence, and in the top 10 regionally for the Trusted Leadership Award. This is a place where people love to work - and where your contribution truly matters.
