We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and forward-thinking Deputy Service Manager to help lead our Social Care Reablement Service. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a high-quality service that enables people to regain independence, achieve their goals, and live safely at home.
Working alongside the Service Manager, you'll play a key role in leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring excellent outcomes for the people we support.
What You'll Do:
- Support the operational leadership of the Reablement Service.
- Lead, motivate and develop Team Leaders and frontline staff.
- Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and person-centred practice.
- Work collaboratively with health and social care partners.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
- Lead projects and service improvement initiatives.
- Help shape the future of reablement services across Devon.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience of leading and managing teams within health or social care.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- Experience of performance management and service improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A good understanding of adult social care, safeguarding and reablement principles.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for supporting people to maximise their independence.
