An exciting new opportunity for an Occupational Therapist Advanced Practitioner covering North Devon.
Are you a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy leader looking for a role where your skills can truly make an impact and difference?
We are seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Advanced Occupational Therapist to provide professional and practice leadership across our Adult Social Care services in North Devon's vibrant towns, rural communities, and picturesque coastlines
This role is central to delivering a Prevent, Reduce and Delay approach, supporting people to maximise independence, remain connected to their communities and avoid unnecessary escalation of need. There will be a focus on supporting the teams to strive for best practice and quality assurance.
As a senior OT leader, you will
- Be part of the senior OT leadership team, led by the Principal OT
- Support workforce development, mentoring and quality assurance, working collaboratively with health, housing and wider partners to shape service delivery and drive continuous improvement in occupational therapy practice.
- Hold a small caseload, working with adults with complex and changing needs, providing expert assessment and intervention while also leading and influencing high‑quality, strengths‑based OT practice across teams.
- Represent occupational therapy at locality or system forums, influencing service development and integration across health, housing and voluntary sector partners
- Champion the appropriate use of Technology Enabled Care and innovative solutions to support independence, risk management and timely intervention.
