Nursery Nurse Practitioner (2 posts) - Little Stars Nursery

We are looking for a caring, trustworthy, and compassionate Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team.
At our nursery, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences for young children in a nurturing environment where every child is valued and supported to thrive.
We have two posts available, one part time and one full time.
- Full time: 5 days per week, 9am - 5pm (Mon-Thurs) Friday term time 9am-4pm
- Part time: 3-4 days per week. 8am - 5pm. Days to be discussed.
With some hours during the holidays. Weeks of the nursery being open will be discussed.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality day-to-day care for children
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play
- Building warm, positive relationships with children and families
- Working as part of a supportive team
- Planning and supporting activities in line with the EYFS
- Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Observing and monitoring children’s progress and development
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Have a sound knowledge of the EYFS
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children
- Be enthusiastic, nurturing, and able to work well within a team
- Have good communication skills
