Holywell C of E Primary School are seeking a highly organised Lead Administrator to join our school office team.
Please note that the pro rata salary for this role is between £11,175 (D8) and £11,914 (D12) gross per annum (subject to change depending on agreed working pattern on appointment).
About the role
This is a key role supporting pupils, staff, families and visitors, and contributing to the smooth, effective running of the school.
Your responsibilities will include general administration, such as:
• Managing incoming post, phone calls and emails, and distributing as appropriate.
• Managing the school's Income Collection System.
• Ensuring necessary permission forms are recorded and updated as required for every child.
• Acting as personal assistant to the Headteacher by assisting the Headteacher in responding to emails and letters in a timely manner and producing minutes as required.
• Producing the School Census three times a year.
Within this role, there are also finance, premises and lettings, human resources, and admissions and attendance administration duties.

• Confident using a range of Information Technology (IT) and school systems (or keen to learn).
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in writing and face-to-face.
• Enthusiastic about working in a school environment and supporting children’s learning.
• Can work with flexibility, positivity and calmness under pressure.
• Ability to use their own initiative while being a supportive member of a small, dedicated team.
