The Governors wish to appoint an exceptional leader who has the vision, enthusiasm and innovative thinking to continue to drive Hazeldown School forward, building on our existing strengths.

We support our children to become well-rounded individuals by teaching them the importance of values, mindset and metacognition alongside providing exciting curriculum opportunities.

The new Headteacher will be someone who:

- Has high expectations of children and staff and can motivate and inspire all members of the school community.

- Will lead a strong safeguarding culture, ensuring the welfare of children and staff.
- Is an effective communicator, able to interact with all stakeholders and the wider community; and
- Has strong financial management skills and can approach this area with confidence.
