Devon's Best Start Family Hubs are transforming how families access help. As part of our ambitious Best Start in Life vision, we're bringing together services, communities and resources to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive and every family can access support when they need it. We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Family Hub Support Workers to join our growing team.
The Role
You'll work directly with babies, children, young people and families, delivering advice, guidance, targeted interventions and group programmes that improve outcomes and build resilience. With a particular focus on Best Start in Life support from pregnancy to age 5, you'll help families give their children the very best start, while also contributing to the wider Best Start Family Hubs offer for children and young people aged 0-19, and up to 25 for those with SEND.
Using a whole-family approach, you'll provide support in homes, local communities, Family Hubs and through our growing digital offer. Working alongside colleagues from health, education, children's services and the voluntary sector, you'll help families build confidence, strengthen support networks, access the right help at the right time, and improve their long-term wellbeing and life chances.

These roles are fixed term to 31/03/2029 therefore we are able to offer posts as secondments opportunities if requested and approved. We have opportunities across our 3 localities (South and West, North and Mid, Exeter and East). Please tell us your first and second preferred locality when submitting your application.
