The Special Educational Needs (SEND) Operational Team is looking for experienced SEND administrators. This is an exciting time of transformation for SEND and Inclusion in Devon County Council and you will be joining us at a time of new development.
What you'll be doing
These roles are responsible for providing co-ordination support to Education Health and Care Plans statutory processes within SEND operations.
The role focuses on providing a high-quality co-ordination service for SEND statutory processes, including data management, record keeping and communication with colleagues, professionals and families.
This role will also include some early-stage statutory decision making to support the wider work of the SEND operations team.
What we're looking for
We are looking for co-ordinators or experienced administrators with a good working knowledge of SEND statutory processes who can manage a diverse workload.
The role will require a strong competency in IT across various Microsoft packages and management information system (MIS) platforms.
The ability to work within given deadlines is essential and you must be able to show knowledge of the relevant legislation including the SEND Code of practice 2015.
