A rare and special opportunity has opened up for a permanent position as Deputy Manager to join our vibrant and energetic, family run day nursery in Dawlish.
The staff and children are really the heartbeat of Secret Garden Day Nursery, and we are looking for someone who can team up with the manager to really nurture that relationship. You should be calm and understanding with other staff, willing to lead and inspire them as well as being a good communicator and maintaining a positive dialogue with parents.
Job requirements and responsibilities
- Co-lead in Pre-school room
- Support the manager with various admin tasks
- Deputise for the manager, when required
- Ensure safeguarding, welfare and EYFS requirements are met
- Liaise with parents and show prospective ones around
- Level 3 and above, Early Years qualification
- DBS disclosure
