Roundswell Community Primary Academy are seeking a dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting teaching, learning and pupil development across the school.
About the Role
Working under an agreed system of supervision, you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes
- Support teachers by helping create an engaging learning environment and preparing resources
- Monitor, assess and record pupils’ progress, providing detailed feedback and evidence
- Lead small group interventions and support delivery of literacy, numeracy and other curriculum strategies
- Contribute to out of school learning activities as required
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who can bring compassion and commitment to the role.
Essential qualities include:
- Experience working with children across key stages
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor delivering whole class activities
- English and Maths qualifications at GCSE grade 4 or equivalent
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
