Building a Strong & Vibrant Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector in North Devon and Torridge
Thanks to a successful joint funding bid by North Devon Voluntary Services (NDVS) and Taw and Torridge Voluntary Services (TTVS) through the National Lottery Community Fund, as well as additional support through One Ilfracombe, we are looking to recruit a Community Developer.
Are you passionate about fostering stronger, thriving and far more inclusive and accessible communities? We are seeking a Community Developer to help enhance the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across North Devon and Torridge.
You will be working with the team of place-based Community Developers and Connectors to help discover and remove the barriers, promote accessibility and ensure services are available to all.

The successful candidate will be passionate about understanding and supporting community social action mobilisation. The appointee will be employed by project partner North Devon Voluntary Services and work within Ilfracombe, but with the need to travel across Northern Devon. Experience of working in a similar role would be a benefit.
Please note: Appointment is subject to references and a DBS check. Ongoing relevant training, such as safeguarding and first aid, will be provided.
