We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and detail-focused Catering Assistant Supervisor to join our professional kitchen team. This role is key to supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school catering provision and ensuring that high standards of food quality, hygiene and service are consistently maintained.
As Catering Assistant Supervisor, you will support the Catering Manager in overseeing the daily running of the kitchen, including the preparation, cooking and serving of meals in line with School Food Standards and Trust policies. You will assist in supervising catering staff, allocating duties, and ensuring that service runs efficiently during busy lunch periods.
The successful candidate will work closely with kitchen colleagues, teaching staff and students to ensure a positive dining experience for all. You will be expected to lead by example, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment. A commitment to safeguarding, teamwork and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children and young people is essential.
