Caretaker - Cranbrook Education Campus (Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust)

Cranbrook Education Campus is seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and proactive Caretaker to join our Site Team from 1 September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will contribute to the day-to-day operation of the campus, ensuring that our facilities and grounds are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine site inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Carry out minor repairs and basic DIY work.
- Support the security of the campus, including opening and closing procedures as required.
- Ensure the campus grounds and buildings are safe, clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with health and safety checks and compliance requirements.
- Support the preparation of rooms and facilities for events and activities.
- Liaise with contractors and report maintenance issues appropriately.

- Has a good understanding of health and safety practices.
- Can communicate effectively and work positively as part of a team.
