Through our Step-In Apprenticeship Programme, the Council is offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. The Digital & Technology Service are recruiting for a Business Administration apprentice.
As a Business Administrator apprentice in the Digital & Technology Service you will help support IT projects, support our work with IT providers, set up and support meetings and help to support the delivery of our IT services. This is not a technical post, so in-depth IT knowledge isn’t necessary.
Starting in May, the duration of your Apprenticeship contract will be 20 months. You will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification. You will be supported by a combination of training and practical work experience.
We offer a highly competitive starting salary of £24,796 per annum, a starting holiday entitlement of 25 day, a variety of job-related training opportunities and flexible working arrangements so as well as working from County Hall in Exeter you can also work and learn from home when appropriate.
Applicants should be:
- Keen to learn and motivated to succeed
- Interested in learning more about local government and how it might meet your future career aspirations
- Able to listen carefully and respond well to people in a suitable format
- Willing to provide excellent service to Digital & Technology Service and the people of Devon
- Of suitable academic ability i.e., minimum qualifications of grade C (4) GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
