We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join the Exmouth, Woodbury and Budleigh Community Health and Social Care Team. We are a friendly, welcoming but hard working team committed to supporting the people most at need within our local community.
We particularly welcome students and newly qualified workers for whom we aim to provide a supportive learning environment.
We have great links with local colleagues from statutory and voluntary services which makes a real difference in the support we are able to offer to people.
As a team, we enjoy working together from our office base to support one another but also welcome the flexibility of hybrid working.
AS an ASW in our team, you would be expected to
- deputise for the team manager
- chair safeguarding enquiry and best interest meetings
- support and develop the practice of the team, including working with newly qualified social workers.
- hold a small caseload of complex work
- offer supervision to colleagues members
