For this role: You will be responsible for facilitating service improvement, change management projects and transformation across the Council and its partners, and support cultural change.
What you'll be doing:Managing a small team of project staff you will ensure the successful delivery and efficient functioning of the corporate Transformation Programme and realisation of the benefits defined by its objectives, including enhanced efficiency, cost savings and improved customer satisfaction. Projects incorporate the delivery of ICT solutions across the organisation, including the impending roll-out of Office 365.
Who we're looking for:The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of transformation, service improvement models and good practice. You will have a proven ability to work collaboratively with services, staff and managers to develop workable and innovative solutions to complex business problems as a means of increasing efficiency, improving delivery to customers and delivering tangible benefits to the customer and the organisation.
To be successful in this role you will need: to have to a good understanding of the current policy issues facing local government particularly in relation to service redesign, savings and the role and function of local government, combined with knowledge of methods and techniques to manage and influence behavioural and cultural change. You will be an influential and persuasive communicator with high levels of written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to interpret complex issues and present to a wide group of stakeholders.
