For this role: You will be based at Broadmeadow Leisure Centre, but could be required to work at any of our three Leisure Centres: Newton Abbot, Broadmeadow or Dawlish.
What you'll be doing: You will be responsible for supervising the centre’s operations in an efficient and effective manner and in accordance with specified procedures and systems on a shift basis.
Who we're looking for: Someone who has the ability to lead effectively and is a good communicator. This role requires someone who is proactive and able to identify day to day problems resolving as appropriate. You should be able to manage competing workloads and work well under pressure.
To be successful in this role you will need: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, current full First Aid qualification, Pool Plant Operators Certificate or willingness to undertake relevant training. You must be able to demonstrate experience of being customer centric in approach to business development. Experience working at supervisor level in the leisure industry and a sports / leisure related qualification is desirable.
