For this role:
You will be primarily office based in Newton Abbot with some business travel to Council owned premises and attendance at meetings.

What you'll be doing:
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a busy Assets service area, with accountability for its service operation and performance. You will appraise, negotiate and deliver Council led regeneration and development projects, and manage a property portfolio with a rent roll of circa £2.8 million.

Who we're looking for: 
We are seeking a Chartered Surveyor who has demonstrable experience in the property industry delivering significant projects successfully.  You will be able to demonstrate commercial awareness and identify sound business opportunities.  

To be successful in this role you will need to be a great communicator with excellent verbal and written skills along with the ability to write concise reports. You will also need to be a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and have Valuer Registration.
