Support transition for children from settings into school reception classes as appropriate. Ensure school and Nursery Plus safeguarding policies and procedures are followed appropriately. Ensure Nursery Plus team practitioners are up to date with current training. Work effectively alongside team members and show an exceptionally strong level of commitment. Main duties and responsibilities will include: • Assist in the lunchtime supervision of children. • Work together towards the appropriate day to day running of the kitchen and dining hall. • Assist in the service of food to customers within the school catering service in order to maximise the quality and efficiency of the service providing customer satisfaction at all times. Manual handling is required in relation to assisting in the lifting of tables onto trolleys in the dining hall and, at times, lifting insulated boxes from the boot of a car onto a trolley. Tutors - Team Educate

Tutors required throughout Devon. Team Educate work very closely with Devon Virtual School and Devon County Council and have been awarded the recent tender to work in partnership. As a result, we require teachers / tutors to work on a 1:1 basis with students in care. At Team Educate, we can offer a range of flexible tutoring with the possibility of both local, face to face tuition as well the option to offer online sessions. This is dependent on the need of the young person, but we will be able to accommodate the tutors’ preferences and availability. Your responsibility as a tutor will be to plan and deliver focused and tailored lessons to the individual children and to provide them with an education. These young people may be out of school for several reasons, and we have a duty of care to support these young people and offer them an inclusive education. The tutor will be required to liaise with the schools and carers but will also have support from us, the school and council etc. Some placements may take place at a school, alternative provision, a children’s home, or a public setting (like a library) whereas others may be online through TEAMs or Zoom. We are looking for qualified teachers and tutors throughout Devon to work with several individuals and can offer you as much or as little work as require. Lessons will normally be 1-3 hours long and we may be able to offer a full day of lessons working with 2-3 different pupils or part time hours to fit around other commitments. The sessions can be during school hours, in the evenings and on weekends (depending on tutor availability). We can book you into as many hours as you like and some of our tutors are working 30+ hours per week. This unique and rewarding role works under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team and will complement the work of the Pastoral Support Manager. Using a ‘whole family’ approach and focusing on the strengths and difficulties within the family; the Pastoral Support Worker will enable parents’ recognition that their children’s cognitive development and learning is important, as is the instilling of values, aspirations and support for the development of wider interpersonal and social skills. About the Academy Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision setting providing full time education for children from 4-16 years of age. Foundation Stage Practitioner - Spreyton Primary School (Devon Moors Federation)

The Devon Moors Federation is an established eight maintained school federation. It consists of Clyst Hydon, Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Lympstone, Shute, Spreyton and Upottery Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Schools Learning Partnership Co-Operative Trust. Spreyton Primary School is a small and friendly two class school with 29 children on roll. As a small school we are able to cater to individual needs, prioritise well-being and be flexible to children's individual needs. We currently have a vacancy within the school. We are looking to appoint a Pre-School Practitioner for Monday to Wednesday mornings and all day Thursday, this is a permanent post. Some lunch cover is also required. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Pre-School Leader to work under the direction of the class teacher and Head of School to lead and organise activities for pupils within the the Early Years Foundation Stage Unit, including reception age children, ensuring that children coming to Spreyton get the best start possible to their educational journey. This role would suit someone looking to develop their ability to plan and lead activities within a small and supportive environment. This role is for 16.75 hours per week. A suitable and relevant Level 3 qualification is essential for this post. There may be an opportunity to extend these hours in other roles within the school.
