Casual Various hours available
Devon County Council are looking for Ceremonies Officers to support with the ceremonies function of the Registration Service. This would include marriages, Baby Naming and Renewal of Vows. The ceremonies can take place across the county on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, some of which are at short notice so will need to be flexible and willing to travel to various locations.
You will need to be a confident public speaker, who is able to engage large numbers of people. Have excellent organisation skills, work to own initiative, and can prioritise tasks efficiently. Knowledge of legislation relating to the registration service and having completed a programme of registration training is desirable.
