YIT Practitioners work with young people and their families to reduce the risk of young people offending. The team work closely with a range of partner agencies in Early Help to make sure that young people and their families have all their needs met and can achieve positive outcomes.
YIT workers form trusted relationships with young people which help them move on with their lives. Whether the outcome is attending school, staying out of trouble, addressing past trauma, reducing drug and alcohol use or finding ways of spending their time that are positive and make them feel good about themselves, all young people work and families with their YIT workers to plan how to achieve great outcomes.
As a YIT worker you will be skilled and experienced at working with young people and understand the best way of identifying a young person’s needs and supporting them to reach their goals.
You will work in a supportive team of colleagues in a well-regarded service.
