The First Federation Trust, a Multi Academy Trust of 29 primary schools across Devon, West Dorset & Plymouth, is looking to appoint a Wraparound Care Playworker to join the hard-working and friendly team at Salcombe CE Primary School.
This is a new opportunity to start in January and will be fixed term until 31st August 2026 in the first instance.
The position will require you to manage the breakfast club and afterschool club provision for up to 15 children from Reception age to Year 6. The hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 8:35am and 3:20pm – 5:30 pm. We would consider a job share.
The successful candidate will:
- Be reliable

- Have an understanding of the development of children and are able to support young people
- Have an understanding of food hygiene
The following training will be provided for this position:
- Early Years &Childcare: Facilitating childrens’ right to play
- Early Years and Childcare: Introduction to play
- Level 3 safeguarding
- Paediatric First Aid
