Our vision focuses on the recovery and growth in an academic, social, emotional and vocational sense for young people. We utilise a bespoke curriculum with unique techniques alongside inclusive activities to create cross curriculum success and positive wellbeing for our young people to thrive. Our school community capitalises on using the wealth of experience each colleague showcases so we develop our provision and curriculum as a team with forward-thinking ideas to transform outcomes for the young people and families that we work with. Utilising the Thrive approach with a detailed understanding and application of attachment theory, neurodivergence, the SEN spectrum of needs, and PACE, the impact of our work with young people is astounding. We are currently in a period of expansion and are seeking someone who expresses a mutual passion and dedication to enhance the lives and futures of young people.
Our small, independent, not for profit SEMH school is set in the heart of beautiful Talaton, near Honiton. We are set within 3 and half acres of picturesque farmland. We are a small community with a big heart, providing a personalised curriculum for every young person within our setting and ensuring that their wellbeing is of paramount importance to us as a team unit.

We are committed to safeguarding and believe that every young person should have the resources and support they need to feel safe both at school and at home. We dedicate fulfilling time for young people to heal and develop their confidence to be an outstanding member of society. Therefore, to promote the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, an enhanced DBS clearance is required to become a part of our community.
