This is a fixed post linked to the SEND funding for two children in the school. The post is linked to the continued attendance of the children and their continued funding to meet the SEND needs. It is initially for two terms only until July 2023.
The Devon Moors Federation is an established five maintained school federation. It consists of Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Shute and Spreyton Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Schools Learning Partnership Co-Operative Trust that we joined in February 2018.
Copplestone Primary School has 160 children on roll and we are looking to appoint a TA to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team as soon as possible. We are looking for a caring and ethusiastic teaching assistant to offer SEND support for 2 children in the school with SEN requirements and to also work with small groups of children across all key stages. You will be required to provide support both in and out of the classroom environment, possibly including some virtual online support. This is a full time role and will include lunchtime cover. You must have a passion for helping children learn and develop, be able to build positive relationships and have good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
