Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 18 hours per week, 39 weeks per year until 31st August 2026 (8.40 - 15.10, 3 days a week)

St George’s C of E Infant and Nursery School is looking for a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 in the first instance.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support learning in the classroom.
- Assist teachers in delivering, engaging and accessible lessons.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups.
- Provide targeted support to pupils who need an extra helping hand.
- Promote positive behaviour.
- Help create a calm, inclusive and productive learning environment.
- Prepare learning resources.
- Assist with organising materials and setting up activities.
- Support around school.
- Supervise pupils during break times, lunch, and transitions.
What You'll Need:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education.
- A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
- Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C or equivalent).
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach.
