Bickleigh-on-Exe C of E Primary School is a very special place to work, in a beautiful rural location, with easy access from Exeter (20 minutes) and Tiverton (10 minutes). Our popular school is situated in the beautiful Exe Valley surrounded by farmland and the banks of the River Exe. The school enjoys extensive grounds, providing an outdoor education area, sports ground, pond and raised beds. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a patient, encouraging and driven approach and have experience of supporting children. The successful applicant will initially work within the EYFS.

• Excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and other staff
• Self-motivation and the confidence to be proactive
• The ability to provide rich and creative learning experiences
• A personal philosophy which supports the values of the school
• A minimum GCSE C Grade in both maths and English
• Experience of working with children within the EYFS
• An appropriate Early Years Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
