The post is a fixed term contract until the 31st August 2024.
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher of Food Technology. As a fantastic classroom practitioner, you will be part of the wider DT faculty, with the ability to teach students aged 11-16.
You will first and foremost be an excellent teacher who leads by example. You will have a track record of always putting young people first, and the ability to inspire and take students and colleagues with you to continually improve our students’ wellbeing.
At KEVICC you will have the chance to work alongside a great group of colleagues who are all committed to the absolute best for our young people. You’ll work in a school that is proudly comprehensive, inclusive and kind. Most importantly, you will get to work with our fantastic students with the chance to see the impact you have on their learning.
You will also be joining a forward-thinking school that is excited to collaborate across our trust of like-minded schools and more widely. We are delighted to have recently joined Education South West, a trust of local primary and secondary schools that includes a nationally recognised teaching school hub at Kingsbridge.
The role requires the ability to fulfil all aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
KEVICC, as we are widely known, is situated in the South Hams town of Totnes, serving a wide and varied area. You can get a glimpse of what we are about via the website, Twitter (@KEVICC), Instagram (@kevicc.totnes) and YouTube (KEVICC Totnes).
Education South West is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post. This includes checks with past employers, an online check of publicly available information, including social media, and an enhanced disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
