Required for September 2023, we are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated teacher to join our Drama department and be part of our dynamic staff team. We are looking to recruit a passionate individual who is both committed to excellent teaching and learning, and to inspiring young people to achieve their best possible outcomes.
The successful candidate should be suitably qualified to teach drama at Key Stage 3-5. The majority of the timetable will be Key Stage 3, however consideration will be given to examination groups for a suitably qualified applicant.
The post is advertised as temporary until 31 August 2024, pending the outcome of staffing reviews, however, always a possibility of being made a permanent post in the future.
The Academy (1,100 pupils on roll) was inspected by both SIAMS and OFSTED in 2017 and received Good in both inspections. The Academy has a dynamic leadership team across both senior and middle leaders. Professional development opportunities for all our staff are varied and staff are committed to their own professional learning.
