We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly committed and creative Teacher of Drama to join an energetic and forward-thinking Expressive Arts Faculty from September 2022. You will be required to teach Drama to Key Stage 3 and possibly 4 and 5 depending on experience. The ability to teach exciting, innovative and engaging lessons (where students’ learning is the focus) is absolutely paramount. Knowledge of Pearson Edexcel GCSE and A Level an advantage. There will be a requirement to undertake cover teaching as appropriate.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, innovative and hardworking, and willing to contribute to our dedicated team as well as to the college as a whole. Above all, they will be committed to developing high quality teaching and learning to ensure that students enjoy, are challenged by and make good progress in Drama within a safe environment. This position could have the option of being part time to teach Drama only (0.8 FTE).
This post is temporary to cover maternity absence.
This post would suit an NQT as well as a more experienced colleague looking to develop their skills within a high performing, supportive team.
