The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Design & Technology (D&T) with strategies to motivate and stretch learners across the key stages and ability ranges. We seek applicants with a strong and confident teaching ability who can teach Engineering and Construction at BTEC Level 2. The ability to teach an additional subject would be advantageous. D&T is a real strength of the College, much valued by pupils and parents.
The successful candidate will be creative, imaginative and an excellent team player with a proven record of excellence in the classroom, although we welcome applications from exceptional Early Career Teachers. You will provide a consistently high quality of teaching and enable the effective use of resources to facilitate high standards of learning and achievement for all students.
The person appointed would thus be working within a successful supportive culture with plenty of opportunity to support the wider school community. This teacher must be a highly professional and committed team member.
