SEND English Teacher
Southbrook is a successful, oversubscribed special school for pupils age 11-16 with complex needs. All our young people have social, emotional, and communication difficulties. Many have moderate learning difficulties, autistic spectrum conditions and physical/sensory impairments. A small number also have severe learning difficulties.
The Governors of Southbrook School are seeking to appoint a highly skilled primary trained teacher who is enthusiastic, flexible and creative with previous experience in supporting pupils with SEND.
We are looking for a teacher to deliver English across the school to both Key stage 3 and 4 pupils. A class teacher will be expected to plan, deliver and assess a highly motivating, purposeful and ambitious curriculum that meets the specific needs of pupils and create a positive and safe working environment in which all pupils can thrive and effectively support pupils' social, emotional and additional needs.

This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
