We are seeking a Class Teacher for Upper Key Stage 2 starting January 2026.
Langtree Community School is part of the Two Rivers Federation, along with Bishops Tawton Primary School. We are seeking to appoint an excellent KS2 class teacher to join our team from January 2026.
This post involves teaching a class of mixed Year 5 and Year 6 children.

The successful candidate will be able to continue their teaching career in a popular village school close to the beautiful North Devon Coast and within reach of Bideford and Torrington.

• Have a proven track record of excellent primary teaching in particular in Key Stage 2
• Have an excellent knowledge of current educational practice, pedagogy and research.
• Have the ability to lead a subject area across the school
• Have a passion for innovation and creative thinking
• Have the ability to nurture our pupils and support each of them to reach their full potential
• Have high expectation for standards and behaviour
• Have high expectations of themselves and to be a reflective practitioner who values personal development
• Work effectively with the staff team and with parents.
• Be inspiring and motivated, energetic, enthusiastic, dynamic and fun.
