We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistants to join the Ted Wragg Trust Inclusion Team.
You will work in our Exeter and Plymouth schools under the direction of the Lead Speech and Language Therapist and will deliver intervention to enable students to develop their speech, language and communication skills. Your role as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant will be to follow the guidance of our Speech and Language Therapists to provide intervention and support to the pupils in both our primary and secondary settings.
You will:
- work with a varied paediatric client group which includes children across our trust schools ranging from Nursery to Sixth Form
- work closely with the Speech and Language Therapists to provide intervention according to the needs of the students
- receive regular coaching, mentoring and line management support from the Speech and Language Therapist
- Work closely with the teaching teams of the schools to ensure support and training is offered accordingly
- Receive regular contact with the other Speech and Language Therapists
- A range of assessments and training available along with CPD opportunities
