The post holder will be supported by friendly and forward-thinking team members. This is a really exciting time to join us. Transforming Futures Trust’s core purpose is to improve the lives of children and young people with special needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The Trust itself has improved, with strong education and governance, and sound finances, with greater stability in delivering the best possible education for the children and young people in our schools.
The Trust is made up of three, soon to be four, special schools that are dedicated to meeting the needs of pupils with social, emotional or mental health needs and/or on the autistic spectrum. Our settings span Devon, Cornwall and Plymouth. The Regional Director (formerly the Regional Schools Commissioner) has already approved our Trust to sponsor Mount Tamar School. We are committed to the job in hand and so this role will include significant time supporting leaders to enhance the specialist education we provide for our pupils.
Initially, the role will be home based. Therefore, the successful candidate will be prepared to travel and be able to work from home. They should also be prepared to be adaptable as the needs of the Trust changes. The post is fixed term until March 2023 in the first instance.
