Specialist Family Practitioner (Self-Employed) - Aspire Social Work

The posts for Specialist Family Practitioner means that the worker will be involved in the day-to-day support of the family as per the expectations of Specialist Family Practitioners. But also, will be expected to work with the family to take on a ‘key worker role’. Meaning they will work with the management team to ensure the planning and follow through of the direct teaching work with the family and support specialist support workers to keep this work focused and timely.

They will also engage with an on-call duty rota which is a ‘week on’ shared amongst the Specialist Family Practitioner team (currently one in every five weeks, but if three further members appointed would move to one in every 8 weeks). This is to offer advice and guidance in emergency to the team and families. You will be supported by the on-call duty manager in this role. 

Those who hold this post will need to be able to travel across the south-west to work with families and have flexibility to work some evenings, weekends and overnights to suit the needs of the family and service.

The Pay and benefits:
£15 per hour & 45p per mile 
£100 per on call week.
