School for Inspiring Talents (SfIT) is an independent therapeutic day school operating across two sites in the South West supporting vulnerable students aged 5-16 who have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) or trauma. We are passionate about providing the appropriate support, care, nurture, and educational strategies to allow our inspiring young people to truly flourish. Working closely with families, we support every student to fulfil their social, emotional, and educational potential.
We are keen to appoint a passionate, resilient and highly specialist Learning Support Assistant to work 1:1 as a Key Adult in our Outreach team. This post will be supporting our students who require high levels of support to feel safe and who can display complex and challenging behaviours at times. You will need to have previous experience of working in a school setting or similar and be adept at dealing with high anxiety and complex behaviour daily.
