How do we work?

The Social Care Assessor role within the Assessment and Review Team will be working a 5-day week on a staff rotation basis, over six days; Monday to Saturday, office hours. Saturday working attracts an enhanced rate. Currently staff are required to work on average one Saturday every 7 to 10 weeks, though this may be subject to change to meet the needs of the service.

The Council has adopted a flexible approach to meeting business needs which includes some flexibility around work hours and base. In the Assessment and Review Team currently staff are required to attend the office for roughly 50% of the working week to enable better collaboration.
