Join the family! Our beautiful Nanny Bears settings are looking for a welcoming Senior Early Years Manager to join the team, supporting our settings across the group and stepping in to manage settings during Manager absence, holiday periods and maternity leave where applicable.

Job summary
This role will support all 10 Nanny Bears registered settings, working closely with the leadership team and individual nursery managers to ensure continuity of high-quality care and leadership across the group. Please note, this is a full time position of 40 hours across 5 days, Monday to Friday inclusive.
The role will involve stepping into settings to lead teams during periods of manager absence, annual leave and maternity leave, while also providing additional support to settings where required to maintain the Nanny Bears standards.
You will work alongside staff teams to provide a calm, caring environment for the children in our care, supporting practitioners and managers to deliver excellent teaching, learning and care.

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes
- Have a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare (Level 5 or above desirable)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 2 years (preferred)
- Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development
- Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework
- Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice
- Previous experience in a management role within Early Years
- Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
- Have the ability to use initiative and adapt to different settings and teams
- Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
- Good organisation, leadership and delegation skills
- Previous experience working with outside agencies desirable
