Stoke Canon is a beautiful, small, village primary school, situated less than 5 miles from Exeter, with enthusiastic and friendly staff. We are part of the Three Rivers Federation and work alongside Clyst St Mary Primary School.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and Kind Senior Administration Officer to provide support in a busy school environment. Alongside the School Business Manager, the Senior Administrator is the primary point for all Pupil, Parent and School queries. The role requires day to day administration duties including ordering, invoicing, the management of pupil data and running reports. The role also includes admissions for both the School and Nursery.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, finance and IT Skills who is able to build and maintain good relationships with staff, parents, pupils and outside organisations. You will be required to maintain a confidential and discreet manner at all times. You will need to be able to work in a busy environment, and be able to cope under pressure. SIMS and school office experience would be desirable but not essential, previous school administration skills would also be an advantage.
The starting salary for this role will be £28,282, pro rata which is Grade E, Scale Point 16. The top of this scale is £31,364 pro rata. This role is for 27.5 hours per week, for 40 weeks per annum. Ideally you will work 7.30am to 1.00pm Monday to Friday.
