The successful applicant will join the team of subject specialist teachers who have led the development and expansion of our specialist science provision across all our sites and will play a key role in the next phase of our journey.
As our Science Technician you will be part of our on-site science team, supporting practical activities in the classrooms and also organising resources and equipment used by peripatetic teachers and those delivering science lessons at eleven sites across the Southwest.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment through ensuring the availability of suitable materials and equipment and safe disposal of waste products.
You will be supporting both science specialists and non-specialists in delivering high quality teaching and learning through providing resources in the classroom and in kit form for off-site use, as well as setting up and assisting in practical classes.
You will be at the forefront of making life changing differences to a group of young people who deserve the same high level of education as their peers.
This is a unique and rare opportunity to join an incredible team of staff and young people and if you believe that you have the vision, skills and experience that will help shape the lives of the young people we serve we would love to hear from you.
If you have good communication skills, and a desire to help make a difference to young people’s lives then we would like to hear from you.
