An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Services Transport Team as a School Transport Officer working at the heart of School Services. We are a small team who are dedicated to transporting students in Torbay.
This extremely varied role is pivotal in the day-to-day operations for the provision of home to school transport for students in Torbay. If you are passionate about supporting young people, with first class organisational skills and love working in a fast-paced environment with lots of variety, then we’d love to hear from you. You will be dynamic and flexible in your approach, have excellent communication skills, preferably with experience in building relationships, prioritizing workload, problem solving and making decisions based on guidance and policy.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be joining a highly effective and capable team in Torbay, a stunning part of South Devon.
We’re offering hybrid home/office based working options along with a host of other local government benefits. There will be some unsociable hours with early starts (7.30am) on a rota basis.
