Roselands Primary School, part of the Riviera Education Trust is seeking a dedicated and qualified SENDCo to join our team on a fixed-term basis until August 2025.

Roselands Primary School is part of the Riviera Education Trust which is a multi-academy trust comprising of three local primary schools: Roselands Primary School, Shiphay Learning Academy and Oldway Primary School. We work in collaboration with Oldway Primary School and Shiphay Learning Academy in order to benefit all of the children in the Trust. Working in partnership with other schools helps to strengthen our provision and provide educational excellence so that every pupil has the best possible learning experience and is prepared for future life.
We are seeking a qualified teacher with primary phase experience to join Roselands Primary School as our SENDCo. Situated in the heart of Paignton, Roselands is a fully inclusive school that caters to a broad range of needs. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENDCo or a passionate teacher looking to step into this rewarding position. You will work as part of our dedicated SEND team and receive full support from our Trust SEND Lead.
You will have:
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a primary school classroom teacher
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, agencies, and staff
- Ability to support teachers in developing their practice to meet the varying needs of children with identified SEND
- Ability to support teachers in developing their practice to meet the varying needs of children with identified SEND
- A commitment to securing best possible outcomes for students
