This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of the school and be responsible for the strategic oversight of provision for children with additional needs at the school. Willowbrook is proud to be an inclusive school and we are keen to hear from individuals who are excited about working alongside staff, children and families to continue and develop our excellent provision. This is a full-time post without a teaching commitment and the person appointed will have the opportunity to develop their skills in multi-agency working alongside the rest of the senior leaders in school. We are looking for someone who is excited about developing our provision further and with a good understanding of early years. You will need to hold the current SENCo qualification or be working towards it. You will have a proven track record in raising standards and improving outcomes for all children and have good knowledge of interventions and current effective practice in SEN. We will offer you excellent ongoing professional development, an enthusiastic and skilled staff team and a wonderful working environment in a busy and diverse urban school in Exeter. In addition to this, you will have some dedicated admin time with an assistant to support you in the role.
Vists to the school prior to application are welcomed and will be on Monday 30th at 4pm or Thursday 2nd 9am. We are looking to appoint someone as soon as possible with a view to a summer start, although for the right individual we could be flexible.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
