We have an exciting opportunity for a TA to join our careers and futures team. You will source, support and assess work placements and leisure activities for our learners from Year 8 - Year 14. Ideally, you will have experience of working with SEND pupils, together with a sound knowledge of activities that enhance outcomes for all learners. You will need to work independently and the ability to drive school vehicles is essential.
This post is temporary whilst funding is available (initially one year with a view to extend, if possible). Part time working will be considered.
Mill Water School is an all-age special school for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, including Autism. The school stands in the grounds of Bicton College. Our beautiful, rural surroundings provide unrivaled opportunities for outdoor learning.
From EYFS through to Post 16, our pupils access a bespoke learning and communication package to challenge their educational progress, working in partnership with multi-agency professionals and families.
